If you need to share access to your FlexiHub account with other users but don’t want to provide your email address and password, you can create login tokens.
A token is a secure digital key that allows logging in to a FlexiHub account without entering an email address and password.
Once a user receives a token from an account owner, they can access the account via the software interface.
Note: Tokens do not allow logging in to online accounts (portals) of FlexiHub users. |
In order to create a login token, take the following steps:
Log in to your online FlexiHub account on the official FlexiHub website.
2. Open the Shared access tab and click the Create token button.
3. Enter the name for your token.
4. Choose the token type.
5. Click Create token.
After the token is created, you can copy it and send it via email, messaging apps, SMS, etc., to the remote user you’d like to allow access to your account.
Note: Once a user logs in to your account with the token you have sent them, they can see and manage all your connected devices. |
The user of the provided token should:
Download FlexiHub and install it on their computer.
2. Start the app and enter the token they've received.
3. Click Log in.
If you would like to delete a token you have created, click the Delete icon next to it in your online FlexiHub account:
Note: After you delete the token, all users using it will be automatically logged out of your FlexiHub account. |
Token types
There are two types of tokens that you can create in your account:
1. A permanent token that can be used for logging in to the same FlexiHub account from several computers.
It may not expire and is valid until you delete it.
2. A one-time token that is impossible to reuse. It allows logging in to a FlexiHub account only once.
After you create a one-time token, it appears in the token list with the status Ready (for use).
After this one-time token is used to log in to an account, the token changes its status to In use.
After you log out of the account, the token becomes invalid and is shown in the token list with the status Used.
