Commander One allows you to work with system files using root access.
The root user is a special user account with high-level system access intended for system administration, troubleshooting, etc. It can access all files on the system and has permission to read, modify, delete, or replace them - including critical system files. By default, the root user is disabled on Mac for security purposes.
To enable the root user, go to the main menu --> Command and choose the "Restart as Root" option:
Type the administrator username and password:
Note: The root user will start with the default settings. Personalized settings and options for your current user won't be applied to the root.
