Create team accounts
With the Advanced Plan, Donglify allows you to create individual accounts for your team members so they can share USB dongles securely with a select group of people.
To begin, start a free 7-day trial of the Advanced Plan on the official Donglify website.
As a registered Donglify user, you’ll be able to log in to your online Donglify account and manage your team accounts: add and remove team members, create and delete login tokens for their accounts.
Manage team members
An Advanced Plan owner (also known as a team owner) can create team member accounts (they are secondary to the owner account) and provide access to the accounts, generating individual login tokens.
A team owner can manage team accounts in the owner's online Donglify account.
To access your online account, enter the email address and password you used when starting your Advanced Plan trial and click Log in.
Once logged in, you can open the Team accounts tab and start adding team members to your Donglify team:
Note: Each added team member will have their own Donglify account that can be accessed only via the Donglify desktop app with the help of a login token generated specifically for their individual account by the team owner.
Note: All team members will be able to access their individual accounts under the team owner’s subscription plan allowance. This means they will have access to the number of simultaneous connections included in the owner’s subscription plan.
Add a team member
To add a new team member, take the following steps:
Click the Add team member button in the Team accounts tab:
Enter the name for the new team member.
Click Add team member:
The new member will appear in the team members list:
When a team owner adds a new team member, the first login token for the member’s individual account is generated automatically:
The team owner can copy the automatically generated login token or add new ones and send one or all of them to the team member via email, SMS, or any messaging app.
Note: Team members’ login tokens do not allow logging in to the online account of the team owner. The team owner can log in to their online account on the Donglify website either by using their email address and password or their Google Account if they registered with it.
Remove a team member
To remove a team member, take the following steps:
Find the required team member in the list of team members and click the delete icon under their name:
Log in as a team member
Log in using a token
To access their individual Donglify account via the Donglify desktop app, a team member needs to enter the login token they’ve received from the team owner:
And click the Log In button.

Send invites
To let your teammates connect to your local USB dongles, you should send an invite.
In order to send a connection invite to a member of your team, do the following:
Share a dongle to make it available for remote access.
To do this, start Donglify and click the “Plus” icon:
In the invoked window, you’ll see the list of your local USB dongles (the ones that are physically connected to your computer):
Select the radio button next to the required dongle and click Share.
After you click the Share button, the dongle will become available for remote connection:
Now you can invite your teammates to connect to your dongle. To do this, type the email address or the name of the teammate you’d like to share your USB dongle with and click the “Plus” icon:
or select the teammate from the drop-down list:
Note: You can also invite a teammate using their email address. The team owner can provide you with it - it can be found under the team member’s name in the online Donglify account and send it to you in any convenient way.
When the teammate accepts your invite, you see them connected to your USB dongle:
4. To disconnect the remote team member from your dongle, click the “More options” icon next to the required teammate’s name and select Disconnect:
Accept invites
Once you are invited, you can connect to the shared dongle and get full access to its functionality.
