Some buttons on your device may not work because your device does not support the corresponding command. For example, on some Fire TV stiсks, volume buttons and some other keys may not function - this is normal.

In some cases, to control the volume of a streaming device (such as Chromecast) using TVRem, you may need to enable HDMI-CEC in your TV settings. This feature may have different names depending on the TV brand:

  • Samsung: Anynet+
  • LG: Simplink
  • Sony: BRAVIA Sync
  • Sharp: AQUOS Link
  • Philips: EasyLink
  • Panasonic: HDAVI Control, EZ Sync, or VIERA Link
  • Hisense / Toshiba: Regza Link

Your streaming device must also be connected to an HDMI port that supports HDMI-CEC. If your TV doesn't have a port specifically labeled for HDMI-CEC, try connecting the device to an HDMI ARC/eARC port.

If you notice that buttons that should work are not functioning, please contact our support team. We will check your device and help resolve the issue.
